How to Add Draws to a Matco Tool Cart

I'm still temporary on my FIL's old Matco tool case and have another issue. One of the slides along the good length top drawer inevitably replaced. The inside and outer channels give birth separated and although it still slides in and out that side droops even empty. I for certain wouldn't trust it with the weight of tools. I called Matco and was told the slides are no longer available. He gave Pine Tree State Matco's Part number, CHRN-024U, and told Pine Tree State they were supplied away Knape & Vogt Manufacturing. He also told Maine it was a 24" full extended roller bearing slide by. I called Knape &ere; Vogt but they were unable to cross reference the Matco number. Their rep gave ME an email address and told me if I sent pictures and measurements of the slide they could look. He didn't sound confident though. Then I am back here fortunate that the collective wisdom on AS power point me in some other direction.
The corner is a Matco # MB2010SX factory-made happening 4/15/93
Looking for the 24" figurative roller bearing top drawer slide, Matco # CHRN-024U factory-made by Knape &adenosine monophosphate; Vogt.
I mention that information technology's for the top drawer because that one is the full with of the corner and the slides are much larger that the quietus of the drawers.
Any ideas would be pleasing!

I got nowhere with Knape & Vogt so I left-hand the dented slide with a automobile shop this morning. They imagine they bum straighten the bent channel and install new rollers bearings. I will let you recognize how successful so are.

So I stopped by the machine tell on and got my slide back. They tried but were unable to fix it. Gave them $50 for the effort but now Im back on the hunt. I'll check out the link on garagejournal and run across if that leads anywhere. Thanks.

I was selling Matco Tools hindermost then (1990-1993), and the only brand I ever saw was Accuride.
Any chance you still have a contact at Matco who might give some information? The slides have "Matcoglide" stamped in them.

Your dealer did that, not Snap-on. BTW, they use the same slides.
I just noticed this, you say Snap On and Matco use the comparable slides? I wonder if there is any chance Pushover on would have these.

Rack up thing you come is find a truck, and take it in and ask, and see out that they don't work.

Possibly. Operating theater call Accuride. The slides on my Matco boxes are Accuride. I had the two pair I told you about that are K-V, but the majority are Accuride.
I talked to a knowledgeable sounding tech at KV yesterday. He told me my slides were actually manufactured aside Waterloo World Health Organization KV bought in 2013. Unfortunately they don't have records of what Matco used, or some of Waterloo's old tooling. I sequent universal needle bearing slides murder of Amazon and bequeath figure out how to make them shape.
Thanks for all the help though!

So, Friday last week I got the universal 24" fully extendable ball bearing slides. Got look them and the dimensions were visibly identical to the burst Matco slide. Got to thinking that if I took the new slide apart I could substitute the bent inside channels of the old slide with perfect hot inner channels of the inexperient slide... well visibly identical is non quite an identical in reality. Beautiful damn close though! The new needle bearing rollers were slightly larger than the old ball bearings. New unitary wouldn't enter upon, the old ones were excessively sloppy and new on fundament/old on top didn't quite figure out either. I took a few measurements and dictated a 15/64" ball bearing would do information technology. Took a chance on ordering a bag of them and...
BOOYAH!!! The original older channel locked into the package exactly as Matco supposed and I attached the inner channelise to the drawer with four 5mm machine screws and buggy. The new slide rolls a little smoother and easier than the old swoop just I expect that will even out with the slant of tools and a little time. I'm antimonopoly stoked to start loading tools!!
Thanks for all of the serve!
